If you hadn't laid it out so preteniously I might have figured it out better. No I'm not conceding to your point, and that's a weak response from you to suggest core gamers don't exist, pretty damn weak. (and false, of course)

I'd say it's a fairly strong argument, given that the colloquial definition of the core gamer has been fluid and varied from generation to generation. People who played Halo/GTA last generation were not core gamers, and how suddenly they are, and how do we account for that?
