it certainly isnt democrats or "environmentalists". those are the people that are always against and strike down projects, like solar fields and wind farms. every time one is proposed they basically say "NIMBY" Solar field in the middle of the desert: NO. Wind farm miles of the coast. NO
its always conservatives that push every form of energy, and they dont believe currently non sustainable and non profitable and non practicle energy sources should be propped up by the government (see: Selyndra). they believe the market should choose the energy.
and anything that creates jobs would be great, and something new for Obama
