I'm a big RPG fan, but never really got into the series. I'm about to try out Sacred Stones through my ambassador program. Can someone list all of the games in the series from first to last just in case I like this one and want to get the others. Thanks.

This isn't really important, and it's just sort of a fun fact, and you can probably just ignore it Odel, but what you said there isn't completely correct, Rol.

According to the designer's notes for FE4, Jugdral (FE4 and FE5) and Akaneia (1, 3) (and thus also Barensia (FE 2) are in fact in the same universe.

Q: Is there any relationship with the continent of Akaneia from the previous game?

A: Yes. In terms of eras, the era of Genealogy of the Holy War occurs long before the continent of Akaneia. Jugdral was an advanced country, whereas Akaneia barely held any level of civilisation. At this time, the dragon tribes of Akaneia were deciding on how to handle the human race. The Divine Dragon tribe and the Earth Dragon tribe divided into two opposing sides, the same Earth Dragon tribe appearing in Genealogy of the Holy War.

This most likely means that before Shouzou Kaga (the creator of Fire Emblem) left Intelligent Systems, they planned all the continents to be part of the same universe.

I'm not sure how well all the continents being in the same universe holds up now, though. The GBA Fire Emblems could very well be in the same universe as the NES/SNES ones (especially with there being Manaketes in both, and other similarities), but the Tellius Fire Emblem games kind of muck that up. Especially Radiant Dawn, with all the other continents sinking. That would mean that Radiat Dawn would have to be the very last game chronologically.
