Last night, my roomate posted on Facebook he was selling his Kindle Fire for $180 (he is getting an iPad instead). Upon seeing his deal, I was slightly interested.
I did a bunch of research, and it seemed like something I really wanted. Badly.
I immediately left a message on his facebook that I am interested. Unfortunately, somebody else claimed it before I did. So jokingly, I said I will up the bid to $185. The other person cancelled out, and I wound up getting it.
He gave it to me with a nice case, so it is about $225-$230 in value. He literally bought it like a week ago, so it is brand spanking new.
IT IS AMAZING. I never thought I would fall for the whole tablet thing. I now understand it.
Money can't buy happiness. Just video games, which make me happy.
