The 9's aren't actually a new series, don't fret. Its basically 2 cards in SLI configuration built onto 2 PCBs and attached together with an "approved cooling solution". They are optimized to work better than standard SLI does AFAIK but thats it.

So you have to buy 2 seperate cards or do they come together. I wasn't planning on using SLI anyways.

 nope the 9 series is one card (with the guts of 2 on it)
