HUGE POST INCOMING!

For MMA fans, Supremecy MMA has been rated by ESRB for Vita

http://www.gamepur.com/news/6772-supremacy-mma-unrestricted-ps-vita-rated-esrb.html

Entertainment Software Rating Board has revealed its rating for Supremacy MMA: Unrestricted for the PS Vita, and as everyone of us expected it received M for Mature rating due to blood, partial nudity, sexual themes, strong language, use of drugs and violence.

You can check out the ESRB rating summary below.

This is a fighting game in which players engage in mixed martial arts competitions. Players punch, kick, and perform a variety of fighting moves (e.g., body slams, throws, submissions) to defeat opponents. One-on-one matches are highlighted by punching sounds, bone-crunching effects, cries of pain, and blood splashes that stain the mat and players’ bodies. Some fighting moves (e.g., Front Suplex, Arm Bar) result in broken and/or unnaturally twisted limbs; opponents’ bodies are generally battered and bruised by the end of each match. During one fight sequence, several female characters (some topless) can be seen pole-dancing in the background; one storyline also depicts the still image of a dancer spreading her legs in a suggestive manner. The dialogue also contains sexual references (e.g., “[L]ike a ten-dollar ho*ker . . .”). During one storyline, a pile of cocaine and two lines are depicted on a table; a syringe can also be seen being injected into a character’s arm. The words “f**k” and “sh*t” can be heard in dialogue.

GREAT preview of Wipeout 2048..the author calls it a system seller and is highly impressed with it..very good read

"In short, WipEout 2048 is fabulous.  It’s been my go-to game for the last few days (nudging the brilliant Uncharted out of the way) and all this is without the multiplayer portion being activated yet.  I’ve shown the game to a few people, and all have either added it to their pre-order list, or thought seriously about grabbing themselves a Vita – that’s how good this game looks, sounds and feels."

Machina will be very happy to hear this :D

aaaand for the Ragnarok Fans here

http://www.siliconera.com/2012/01/16/ragnarok-odyssey-screens-reveal-hraesvelgr-and-grendel/

Lots of screens..introduces two new bosses (of which I have to say that both of them look pretty good)

"In Ragnarok Odyssey, GungHo Games’ action oriented spinoff, players will have to fight in the air. Hraesvelgr, a giant eagle from Norse mythology, swoops in and attacks players. Before the monster strikes a talisman in the bottom left hand corner will light up giving players a heads up to dodge roll out of danger."

"Grendle dives at players too, but instead of using wings (which the monster wouldn’t have) he does a belly flop."
