Reading the article reminded me of the Modern Warfare 3 vs. Battlefield 3 rivalry. I've never seen such a shamelessly manufactured "battle" between two products so similar in my life. And yes, people only want to see review scores that agree with them. And often times it seems like the score is all that matters. Just imagine a review site with text only and no score.
