I just bought my second PS3 last Sunday for $300 (Sony Card) wth 5 Blu-Ray movies. Maybe Sony can actually put a $300 PS3 out earlier than we all expected and meet their 11M estimate.

This will surely piss of MS, they love to make money and this will force them to drop the price of the 360. There goes their Xbox division profit for Q1 2008, rofl

Yeah, but there goes the PS3 division's profit for 2008.  Ouch!

 Sure PS3 will lose money, they already do. I think Sony wants to kill HDDVD and make money from Blu-Ray. The HD media is worth a few billion in revenue for Sony.

 They actually can make for the losses with both PS3 games and Blu-ray movies. MS on the other hand needs to make it up from games only (or maybe they can actually make that download movies thing turn a profit).
