 3g vita is delayed in Canada as Sony and their 3g partner ( unannounced but probably rogers) are still  fussing over things.  On the bright side all our vita bundles will be the  wi-fi ones which most people prefer anyways.


Seriously?!? I already have the 3G ordered at my local retailer. I hope they can get me one even if there is no provider as of yet.

 From what  I understand they aren't shipping 3g units to Canada at all  for the initial  launch because there's no offical partner agreement worked out.  Back in december Ebgames was letting people know they needed to swap their pre-orders to wifi  if they wanted a units they could use at launch.  I'm sorry your plans got screwed up by this and you should definitely talk with the store you ordered from to work something out. Sony kinda dropped the ball here by not making sure everything was settled with it's carriers earlier on though they are hiding behind the comment " we never promised  that every region would launch with 3g units."

For all i'm unhappy with how this is being handled and the dicking around  Sony and or Rogers is doing i still want a  vita.

Thanks, Ill call my local store and switch for the earlier wi-fi bundle then. Maybe Ill exchange it for a 3G unit later one depending on the Vita/PS3 connectivity.
