That being said, Sony is correct in their statement. The problem is appealing to the general market. While games like Uncharted and fighting game crossovers are fantastic for gamers, they don't appeal to the mass market. Something like a LBP Vita game could provide some mass market appeal if it was heavily bundled, but I just don't believe a Mature rated shooter is the key to bringing new users to the Vita (whether it's Uncharted or Call of Duty). It'll be difficult for Sony to develop mass market "everyone" titles like Crash Bandicoot again but it's the key to reaching the greatest possible audience.

That's always been Sony's weakness. However, PSP also never had any games like that and it did fine. Support for this system seems much better than for psp in general, and I believe there is a lbp in dev for it.
