I can't tell if you're making a joke here or not, especially since you never answered the question of whether or not those titles will be enough to carve out a viable market for the Vita on their own. Your assertion that it will be "more important" than the PSP is both confusing and unsupported.

 

I didn't specifically say that I had no answer, but I did say that all i have is anecdotal evidence on top of knowing what the strengths of psp were, and just how much the vita outdoes it. What does 3ds have over ds? Really nothing except graphics. Vita has the graphics, the title capabilities, the new ways to interact, the cheap indie apps, all the games that psp has, and web browsing.

I don't know what kind of metric you want here. You want an analysis of the gaming marketplace or metaphysical theories? I dunno. I see what the psp did well and not so well, and the vita does both much better.

Most importantly, it's getting support. Maybe you just have no idea whatsoever about the psp? Understandable. It was never big in America. Why? Because Western devs didn't support it. It's not surprising you don't know anything about it, as you would immediately know that even just CoD is 100x more effort than western devs ever put into the psp. Period.

CoD isn't just a sinlge game. It's a foundation that is going to set the standard for the console. It may not have huge sales, but devs are looking at this right now saying vita is where it's at. CoD is on Vita, that's the system we want to be on, that's the mainstream system. Games are already in production, and are going to continue to be produced with much more vigor than was ever the case for psp.

But no, I don't have any bar graphs, or research. It's just simple logic. Western Devs didn't support psp. Western Devs are supporting vita. THat's really all that needs to be known about the situation.
