Hmmm... is this the same Sony that planted root kits in the computers of their customers?
The same Sony that categorically denied optical failures in the PS1 AND PS2 AND PS3 while Nintendo's hardware failure rate has been lower and MS extended their warranties?
The same Sony that denied having potentially harmful, exploding hardware?
The same Sony that has constantly TRIED to leverage their superiority in electronics to shove new formats down peoples throats... BETA (superior but costly and prone to breakage)... ATRAC (blech)?
NOPE. Sony doesn't care about Joe Average Gamer any more (or less) than Nintendo or MS do.
