In the grand scheme of things, shipped eventually equals sold anyway, barring total failures like E.T. and the Virtual Boy.

The shipped vs sold disparity only really tells us about each company's short-term momentum, but that's pretty obvious to everyone at this point, and it can be determined well enough with VGChartz's figures.

We only have to wait a week thankfully, but you're right, this won't be settled until shipments are revealed for both consoles.

If we're wildly off with NPD tomorrow perhaps that's an indication, I don't think we will be though.

So MS shipments next week and when are the rest due?

Just remember this Thursday onwards we get new info every thursday. Tomo NPD, Thurs after MS, Thurs after Ninty, Thurs after Sony.
