Although they've used sold to consumers in the past, I genuinely think this is shipped. 66m install base would mean 66.8 shipped or something, which is 9.2m, that's just too high imo.

But also possible. They hav probably been working towards christmas ssales all year. After all, thats where there releases were. an extra 200k isnt that much. and they also may have sold more than expected leaving the retailers spread thin. 

I did see 2 places out o stock on 360s in christmas week and new year week in Plymouth England.
