What I meant by safest was mainly just by use, not by going out and preforming various activities that might put you in more danger.  I am simply talking about siting back on a couch and taking a drug.  


No argument here then! Sorry for the misunderstanding. I hear people say all the time "weed doesn't affect your driving, I can drive perfectly fine while high" and that may be true but it isn't true for everyone. 

And yeah I'm totally for weed being legalized, both for economic reasons and social reasons (it isn't the government's job to tell us what we can and cannot consume). 

Yea not all people can drive while high but most can perform the same if not better in certain cases.  Take me for instance... When I am sober I usually drive pretty aggressive but still safe, yet while I am high I am more calm and pay even more exta attention to go the speed limit and follow the traffic laws so I don't get pulled over.   I remember though when I was 16 and I smoked a lot while working at KFC and I had to go pick a coworker up.  I got to a stop light and I was so stoned that I was thinking in my head over and over again "just keep your foot on the brake, keep foot on the brake, etc.."  over and over.  Let me just say I was probably a little too high to be driving then but I suppose I was still able to fry chicken.  I also remember a time when I smoked out one of my good friends for the first time.  He got him to hit a 3 liter gravity bong a few times and he was gone.  I ended up driving his crappy Fiero to the movie theater and every parked car and moving car we went by he was like wow watch out!
