I'm never convinced by the idea of touring a console that hasn't released yet. The hardcore Sony fans (who have already decided to buy it) are going to flock to whereever it is to play it early, making it hard for undecided people to get any playtime.
If you want undecided people to get hands on experience, wait till after launch, and get stores to have a demonstration model.
