Because no game since has captured the ultimate essence of "f*ck your buddy over" like Proximity Mines in the Caverns.

 lol true enough :P, my neighbors only own a game cube and an N64, and they were playing goldeneye, and I'll be honest... if it wasn't for nostalgia... that game would have so little merrit to me :/ I guess I just got a little too hooked on some of the current shooters.
