"Confirmation and dates of taping for filming of series ten was announced on 11 November 2011. The series will consist of 6 episodes and be filmed in front of a live studio audience.[7] As of 11 November 2011 Filming was set to begin 16 December 2011 and run through the end of January 2012.[63]"
The show kind of lost its mission statement when they resurrected the rest of the Red Dwarf crew in Season 8 though. Still one of my all time favorite BBC shows.
