Why can't some Christians accept Evolution?

Come on now! Most kids growing up in a religous home get taught many things, one of them is that Evolution is wrong!

Continuing on with the anecdotal evidence this thread is based on, I would like to point out that I am an Australian who attended a prominent Christian School, and they were perfectly happy to teach evolution in tandem with religion, most Christians in the school believing the Big Bang and Evolution were God's work.
