Nope, I don't think that at all.

But   your previous posts about Wii-U being a Dreamcast to Xbox gap power-wise at best if Sony and MS go conservative and N64 to Xbox gap at worst has shown me that though you should not be taken seriously in this kind of discussion despite knowing PC tech well.

explain

Beyond3D Posters are more knowledge-able and are superior to you. That's my explanation.

Plus you are obviously biased or uninformed  since you are touting the possibility of a Wii-to PS360 gap with your N64 -> Xbox nonsense.

I get a lot of my information from Beyond3D, there are lot of knowlagable industry pros on there, very interesting discussion. You are clearly missinformed if you think that a console launched in late 2013 can't offer a standard console generational leap of 8-10x the capabilities of the last. In fact if MS and Sony don't offer such a leap they will need to also bring a Wii style change in input as consumers are unlikely to think that a new console that just offers PS360 level games in 1080p and 30fps is worth investing in the next generation especially as the current generation is not going anywhere.

Also you are contradicting yourself before you claimed you didn't think that a true generation leap in power was impossible but now you are emplying that I am ininformed to think that such a leap is possible...

I did not contradict myself.

You are uninformed because of your statement about the possibility of a N64 to Xbox gap between Wii U and and PS4/720. That's bullshit and far from the worst case scenario.  The other thing was your comment about Wii U being a DC to Xbox gap and that's  if Sony and MS were conservative.

You sound just like those annoying fanboys you meet all over the net who started gaming this gen and think that all Nintendo can do is extremely underpowered hardware like Wii despite it being obvious a Wii-like strategy is not their goal next gen. It's like pre-wii never happened and Wii is the console to judge all future Nintendo consoles by.

But whatever, I need to stop wasting my time on these kind of online arguments.
