Even with that, He has been President of Sony Corporation for over 5 years now and they have only gotten worse. I read the whole thing and Stringer proved he didn't know how to present things when he was talking about content. And I don't believe for one second that he didn't know Japanese culture or Japanese law/policies before he took over as the Chairman and CEO of a Japanese international electronics company.
