YES it's still a failure. Everyone is right to think the statement is scummy. They're wrong to think it would be said to sound townish. Preaching urgency for a lynch without voting or even making a case against someone could never be designed to be townish. Doing the opposite of what you're saying is simply scummy.
As for my relationship with radish, you haven't played with us enough but I practically am his coach. It has yet to rub off on him positively when he's town though. :(
