I don't play games online, I've tried, but it just isn't for me. So in some selfish respects, I do wish it didn't have such a big focus these days.
But then I'm not arrogant enough to think that what I want is what everyone else should want as well. If people enjoy it, then it's going to continue, and it's best to just get used to that whilst hoping that brilliant SP games still get made.
