The question implies that the experiences I have had gaming were somehow fundamentally different depending on the system used. I am older, and cannot do the same caffeine induced marathon sessions I once could, but much of gaming is the same to me. It is the same joy for me. It's the same stupid grins upon completion of a Mario level. It's the same friends and family over to play. Honestly, I hope it stays that way.
