Many denominations of Christianity do (in fact) accept evolution. Many Christians are as accepting of the underlying evolutionary systems... similar to those of other faiths who accept evolution. However, there are also a strong contingent of evolution disbeleivers in other faiths too. It is simply the fact of media saturation of hardline CHRISTIANS complaining that make it SEEM that they (alone) take issue with evolution.
This is not the case.
