lol... do you xxpect those to continue, there several times past when developers have flat out stated they wouldn't mind gettin rid single play modes. So lets that demand continues and we actually do start to lose Single player modes then how do you feel?


You can't use the actions of a few to imply that that's something that's going to be common with the industry. This is never going happen amongst the majority of developers. There's no reason to worry about any drastic decrease in single player modes. Single-player modes aren't in any danger, aside from games with mediocre single player modes.

The only reason we've seen this dramatic increase in online demand is because this generation has been the first to mainstream. The balance between single player and multiplayer games should likely stabilize after this gen when the novelty of online gaming wears off.
