Last game I played was Rayman Origins before the New Years Party.

First game I played of the New Year was Dungeon Defenders

Last game of the year that I bought was Sonic Generations

Haven't bought a game yet this year I think.

How do you feel about Rayman?  I saw it in Gamestop for $30 brand new, yesterday.  Tempted to give it a shot.

as a splitscreen game to play with friends and family its great. Lots of quirky humor. Since points get tracked individually until the end of each level, it is almost a competition between everyone for who can get the most points, but at the same time there are plenty of situation where cooperation is needed to get that item floating high up in the sky, since all your points get combined at the end of the level to unlock new levels, modes, and features.

Its a great game to have silly fun, but if you are only planning to buy it in the hopes of getting a deep satisfying single player platformer, you will be dissappointed. Its more of a party game that actually requires some skill and thinking. I would say its worth it if you have other people who would play it with you.

Thanks, man.  I played the demo with my kid about a month ago and we enjoyed it but I figured that, in true Rayman tradition, it was going to get super hard later on.  For $30 bucks, what could go wrong?  I'm gonna give it a try.
