There should a none for the foreseeable future option.
All 3 were financially successful this gen in all products they offered.
Sony/Nintendo could both sell 1/2 of the portables they did previously and still be profitable from them, so there is no reason to think their slow start (3DS didn't even have a slow start) is any indication of potential closing up shop.
You have to realize Atari and Sega left hardware after MANY large financial failures. Nintendo has only ever had one, almost 20 years ago with the Virtual Boy, and Sony has always been profitable overall. (PS3 will be an overall profitable venture when it retires, especially if you figure in its impact on bluray).
MS with its 360 and Kinect will make up all loses from previous years by the time it retires.
None of these companies can possible be predicted to leave gaming in any reasonable future.
