What are you talking about http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SCE_Worldwide_Studios and if youre comparing to 3ds then it did nowhere as good but the 3ds as got monster hunter, marioland 3ds and mariokart 3ds. 3 massive games. Sony shipped only 500k so thats the figures they were expecting. wait for it to launch ww and give it a year. can you remember the 3ds doom articles. |
Didn't Sony say they shipped over 700k but when the figures came in they quickly said that was a lie and stated they shipped a way lower number. I'm sorry but the PS Vita isn't doing soo good it's not a complete bomb but it's not doing good first of all the sales are going down and it launched in the holiday season that says a lot. The 3ds didn't even launch during the holiday season and it still managed to outsell it. So really why are you arguing that it isn't doing bad when it clearly is sure it can change just like the 3DS did but until then currently it's not doing so good.
Anyways I don't think Nintendo would ever get out of the game industry obviously they are a company that focuses on video games so it's obvious they aren't going anywhere maybe third party at it's worst but they would never exit the industry.
Microsoft I don't think they will either they are doing so good now I just don't see it happening unless they really mess up big time which I just don't see happening especially with all the momentum they have right now.
Sony would be my pick only because they have been losing money for quite a few years. We also don't know how profitable the PS3 is to sony I know they make a small profit off it but when you take into account the whole hacking situtation and the fact that PSN loses money for them who knows how much they actually make since the division the PS3 is in is cluttered up with so many things so you can't tell what product is making and losing money.
I really don't think any of them will get out I think all three will try one more generation and see what happens. But like I said if the PS4 doesn't do good I just don't see what Sony will do.
