Visuals:
To be honest the I was rather let down by the graphics in CEA. Here I was expecting graphics on par or slightly better than Halo Reach but it turned out they were significantly worse than Reach, Even Halo 3 looks better IMO. But don't get me wrong, it is nice to be able to replay Halo CE with much better graphics and for that I am happy. Also being able to switch between the old style graphics and the current was unfortunately nothing more then a cool little novelty, it was impressive but rather pointless. 82/100
Gameplay:
The gameplay is exactly like the original which is a good and unfortunately bad at the same time. It's great to replay the game exactly how it was 10 years ago but the bad thing about it is they didn't bother to fix the horrendous frame rate in the game. I don't think it went above 20 FPS the whole time I played. But even with the horrible frame rate I stuck with it to the end because the game is fun, especially with a coop buddy. 70/100
Sound:
Like every Halo the sound is one of the best things about the franchise. From the updated weapon sounds to the remastered music it was just glorious. 95/100
Singleplayer:
Being able to play such a good classic with remastered sound and much better graphics was quite the treat, terminals added an awesome new aspect to the story as well. I do wish they would have done 2 different modes for the singleplayer campaign though, one that was exactly like the original and one where you could play it more like Halo 3 or Halo Reach. 90/100
Multiplayer:
I'll be honest, I have never really cared for Halo CE's Multiplayer and have no wish to play it. But having 7 maps plus 1 firefight map for Halo Reach was certainly a plus. Also all of the maps were quite good. 85/100
Summary:
Halo: CEA even with it's annoying shortcomings was still a treat to play, it may not have been as good as I was expecting but it's still a darn fine game.
Total score: 80/100
