I think Sony learned it's lesson from dominating the market last gen with the least powerful system (PS2) to losing this gen with the most powerful system (PS3).

Power does not equate to sales and historically the most powerful system has never won. Never even been close to 1st.

I think Sony will focus more on ninfty features and coming out with a reasonable priced machine than pure power. I also don't think they won't want to lose as much (if any) on each system sold as they did with PS3 - a loss they'll probably never recover with PS3 sales.

Which leaves MS to come out with the most powerful system (again). However, I think MS will try to again beat Sony to market by six months to a year, so that even though next box may launch at the highest price, it'll be in line with the PS4's price once it comes out thanks to price drop(s).
