I'd hardly call IGN's article a doom article. The Vita hasn't done incredibly well so far, and the article tries to point out why that might be and what Sony can do to improve the situation. That's not doom and gloom, it's just an analysis. |
what sort of analysis woudl that be exactly? the device has been in the market for 'TWO' weeks and have yet to launch WW. for a proper analysis the author should wait to see how the situation unfold. that is indeed a doom and gloom article of panic without even taking all aspects into consideration. it's not a black and white situation in Jp either. Many reasons are there in place and the PSV will do just fine there. I mean hell he uses anectodal evidence like hey no one struck up a convo about the psv with me it is a 'sign'! please, this is an insult to analysts to even call this as such. The article does NOT address the reasons behind the Jp numbers...it's asking Sony to give free games even before launching the system in the US! they will surely give small apps/games for free jsut like they did with Japan (which the author does not address) but I really don't think they NEED to do such things right off the bat..the device is still LAUNCHING..no need to panic and rush things.
