3DS lite would not be coming out anytime soon. Why would Nintendo make an add-on and then come out with a revamped system including those features afterwards? Not anywhere in 2013, for sure. Only like three games are going to be useful to this circle pad add-on, and I bet I can be satisfied when playing them without the extra pad.
