The man's story sounds somewhat far-fetched. I imagine had this incident actually happened, adjuster and all, Pepsi would have just worked something out with the man to keep it from becoming a big deal. It going to court implies either Pepsi didn't care at all about what happened, or it didn't happen and they feel confident enough that they can prove that.
