I'll just make a ovr goty list i suppose later in this topic. I wanna see how many awards uc3 will grab as uc2 was and i quote "winner over 200 goty awards" obviously being meant as awards in general. Every ounce of praise ND gets, I smile for. What I love about UC is every aspect of it and i want every aspect to be praised :D. If you're a gaming company, everything matters. If I crafted the best story, i'd take that into account upon future games.

I meant more like just keeping the goty awards grouped together. I didn't mean changing the focus of the thread or anything. No problem regardless though man. It's your thread so you get to do  it however you want. Oh, and I'm with  you  about loving all ND praise. I know I had mentioned being disappointed in U3 compared to my expectations, but I still love ND. Definitely my favorite developer, so  I'm lovin this thread.

Judging by your avatar you seem to like InFAMOUS 2 xP. It's crazy how much love that game has been getting around the boards. Well deserved ofcourse ^^

Haha I'm gonna have to change that now. I set that avatar a long time ago before the game released, then spent a while away from VGC. inFAMOUS 2 is the most disappointing game I've ever played. inFAMOUS 1 stood behind only Uncharted 2 and MGS4 as my favorite game of all time. But imo I2 exchanged almost everything good about the first game just for better graphics. I played through it once, was depressed by just about everything including the ending, then sold it. Never done that before. Sorry, been meaning to get that off my chest lol. Excuse me while I go change my avatar. Thanks for the motivation.

I felt exactly the opposite of you ^^. I thought InFAMOUS 1 was.. OK. Nothing really stood-out to me and I disliked the characters, Trish for instance; I didnt give a shit at all. I don't know what it was but yeah...

InFAMOUS 2 wow'd me in the graphics departement, I loved the powers more, the mix of evil-good with ice-fire, I loved the soundtrack! and it was a fun ride that I completed in two-three sittings as opposed to InFAMOUS 1 which took me weeks. Damn I want to play it now but my buddy has loaned it :( xD.

Ha yeah I heard some VGC people praising it after it released, and I just don't understand, personally. Critics weren't too impressed, so I guess I'm with the critics here.

Part of the problem was how hyped I was for it; but, there wasn't much I liked about it regardless. I didn't like how they changed Cole - the voice (just all around less epic - loved the narration in inFAMOUS 1), personality (had more of a corny tough-guy personality in I2), and physical appearance.

Powers were decent but the gameplay/combat was so much less fun to me. Gameplay is where inFAMOUS 1 shined, so this was  a huge negative. They also exchanged fun, strategic boss battles for larger, more cinematic, and (worst of all) scripted ones.

The story stank as well imo. They changed it from the cool, this-is-a-real-city-where-ppl-start-developing-superpowers feel to a more fictional, less believable, and less interesting story involving monster creatures. I liked that they had Kuo represent good, but then in the end they blurred the line between good and evil by making her shallow and selfish and completely self-focused. I also was hoping there would be some development between Kuo and Cole (it's the romantic in me, what can I say?), but nothing came out of that either. Then Cole just dies and the game ends. Depressing all around. The biggest disappointments were the combat and the story/characters, although Zeke delivered even more than he did in inFAMOUS 1.
