If you shop around you can find the newer one for a few hundred more, but it has all the 3D tech integrated, so all you need is a player and the glasses. |
I only know of such waranties what you buy from specific stores. For this TV I'd have to get it and ship it to a warehouse at the border and drive over with a van as I've not found a company that is willing to ship these to Canada yet. Not sure who would want to ensure that lol.
As far as 3D and these TVs, they are amazing. They actually work on a slightly different method than most normal 3D tvs ,called "120Hz time-sequential wobulated 3D" (aka checkerboard). They work with all HDMI 1.4 3D stuff and are only TVs you can buy that will run 1080p resolution content at 60hz per eye while gaming. All other TVs only support 720p at 60hz or 1080p at 24hz per eye.
