No, if anything it was writing fail. Zappykins said that they didn't know why the Wii U wouldn't be using DX11. You said "Even Epic gave us Samaritan as what they expect from next gen consoles and that's a DX11 demo." What would you even include that sentence if you weren't implying such? And I highly doubt that Zelda demo was just "thrown together a few weeks before E3." So, those are the graphics to expect on the Wii U. |
" Also, DX11 has been out for a while now but devs just recently started using it in PC games. Most games are still using DX 9 and 10. Devs don't make a mass jump on to a new API as soon as it is released, the transition takes a couple of years.
Even Epic gave us Samaritan as what they expect from next gen consoles and that's a DX11 demo."
It's painfully obvious that is addressing the part of his post where he says he wants NextBox to use DX12. So, yeah, reading comprehension fail on your part.
" Can I ask where you got that information from? K'thnx." is the only part that is adressing the part about Wii-U using direcetx 10.1.
As for your last sentence, Nintendo themselves told us the demos were put together a few weeks before E3 using current gen assests. Even Darksiders 2 devs said the demo they wanted to show was a quick build. And we all know that Wii-U's hardware was far from finalised at E3, so I'll just go with my common sense and say those demos don't represent what the Wii-U will be capable of.
