That's a good point really. I mean, there are people who underachive at school, then there are people who are just born stupid.
Nobody thinks twice about making fun of the guy with the 85 IQ who has trouble keeping a job at McDonalds, but if his IQ was just a bit lower to where he was mentally retarded people would feel awful. Not to say people with lower IQ's can't succeed, a lot do, because they develop great work ethics, but it's worth noting that being stupid is often genetic.
Kinda off topic, but it's something worth thinking about before laughing to hard at clips that make fun of people not knowing things.
