Which console/handheld are you going to buy next? When? And why have you chosen that over the other options?
A simple enough question. The hard bit will be for the spammers to avoid posting crap and fanboys going on about how wonderful their console is 
Console? PS3
When? When the price comes down and backwards compatibility is reintroduced.
Why? I think it would go well with my Wii. They both do completely different things and offer different games and experiences. I really enjoy the Wii's interactivity and Nintendo's inventive games but I also want to play super sleek racers etc which the Wii's technology can't provide. I'm not interested in Blu Ray so I'm not willing to pay lots of money for it which is why I'm waiting for the price to come down.
I've chosen it over the 360 even though I very nearly bought one a while ago. I never bought a PS2 but it's got plenty of games I want to play. If BC is reintroduced then the PS3 will provide a great opportunity to do so and of course I can't play PS2 games on a 360. Finally, Microsoft's tech issues have put me off buying from them. If they're willing to put out an untested product then they clearly don't care about their customers and I don't want to give my money to them. For all Sony and Nintendo's evils I don't believe they treat their customers with contempt. It's a shame because at the moment the 360 does have more games that I want to play. Hopefully the PS3 will come into its own in the next year or so.
