Police training is exepensive and people with high Iqs tend to be pretty wishy washy and get bored eaisly.

Saying the dude was "smart" is an understatement of his IQ.

125 is about 95th percentile.

But that's not fair. The guy wanted to become a cop and couldn't because the authorities thought he could get bored which is really, unfair. He may not get bored either. Or he may stick to the job even after getting bored. Or even a person with a lower IQ can get bored/leave the job.
