Same reason why obama sent a letter congratulating the first gay couple in new york.

Maybe that's how they really feel. But, they're all playing politics.
People say things, to get the reaction they want out of people. Who knows how someone really feels.

Anyways, being slightly racist or not, is not relevant to fixing this country's current problems.


This advert wasn't put out by Ron Paul, but by a supporting Super PAC. For the most part, the Paul campaign has tried to focus as much as possible on policy and not on personality throughout, even when the personality would have won him more votes

(example being the recent ...ABC? debate (not sure) when asked about faithful relationships, Paul could have used this as an opportunity to sell him self on his incredibly successful family (and attack the likes of Gingrich), but instead twisted the question around to being faithful to the consitution).
