2. God of War II (PS2)
The first God of War made me a fan of Hack&Slash games and of the God of War series. The second one improved upon the epicness with even bigger boss battles and even better presentation. The first boss battle against the Coloss of Rhodes is one of the best I've ever seen and furthermore one of the best openings for a video game ever. This is definitely my favourite PS2 game.
