I have 7 "first game I ever owned"s although I can't even remember what one of them is (gonna have to trawl through the list of MegaDrive games and hope I recognise it)
The highest of those 7 comes in at 94th place in my total list: PGA European Tour Golf for MegaDrive.
The reason for this being I bought the MegaDrive 2nd hand with those 7 games because it was a good price.
