I don't know about that. I've thoroughly enjoyed my Iphone 4 in the almost 1.5 years I've had it.
I just bought myself a used Ipad 1 (64gb 3g version) for christmas and I'm having a great time with it. I was debating between the Ipad 1 and a PS Vita, but since they were about the same price (wifi Vita + 16gb memory card vs 64gb 3g Ipad 1) I decided to go with the Ipad and have not regretted my decision at all.
