In your opinion, have Japanese games as a whole fallen in quality in this gen?

Mario games have been stellar. Bayonetta is in my top 5 fave games of all time. Other surprises have come from the Japanese developers as well like Dead Rising 1 and Shadows of the Damned.

I don't see anything wrong with Japanese developers, other than maybe the don't know how to milk FPS sequels just yet.
