I agree that party games are best with the motion controls, it just urks me when their placed on platformers and on rpgs ;(.

Cant say about FPS, not a big fan of FPS games though I wouldnt mind playing them regardless of the controls ;

you just said that you played skyward sword despite the motion, so i dont see why motion controls in other types of games irks you. if anything, it makes them better because the innovation/freshness and, most importantly, the fun of the games is had in the gameplay.
