mario kart comes with a wheel so it does use motion, nintendo just gives options like smash bros. also, mario galaxy 1 and 2 make use of motion controls in aiming launch cannons, collecting star bits, and rolling ball stars, gravity pulling meteors, etc. so it does use motion. wii sports/wii sports resort are also awesome games that heavily use motion, as well as just dance 1/2/3. goldeneye 007 is another game that uses motion. i assume you mean "hardcore!!" games when you say good games, but that's an assumption on your part.

also, the 3d in 3ds hurting your eyes is a problem with you and people like you, it adds a nice dimension to games like oot remake, nintendogs, and the various functions of the 3ds. i havent got 3dland or mk7 yet but im sure theyre 3d features are ballin so saying its a gimmick is simply an opinion, not a fact.

If you can use a gamecube controller you don't need the motion controls... Also none of that is anymore then the sixaxis on the ps3 uses, at this point it seems like if a game had the option to shake the controller at one point in the story you'd count that as a motion control game. Also pretty much all the uses you quoted are *drum roll*, gimmicks.

Actually my eyes are great, I got 20/20 good night vision, can read 12 font 2 meters away. So it's not a "problem" with me since my eyes have no problem, I might buy not compatible for some random reason. Also 3D on a handheld is stupid in it's own right. I barely get the appeal in thearters and home theaters but on a handheld it's little more then a battery drainer, it adds nothing to the gameplay (as proven by the off switch), it can't use dramatic 3D effects because the screen is so tiny, if you are on a bus or a bumpy ride of some kind and it shakes it goes into a blur and in some cases people just feel like they've gone cross eyed. 3D isn't even something I'd rather have then not have on a portable.
