Thank god u created this topic, I would like to see some discussion on it too :P
OT, I think that its because big software is out for the 3DS(Marios + MonHun), so the japonese consumer is getting it with 3DS's. Vita will be a beast IMO, but this Christmas was dominated by the new software on 3DS. I might be wrong regarding Vita software tho, since VGC dont consider downloadable sales.
