Experia play is a mobile phone; that's an entirely different market. If you are counting mobile platforms than Nokia has at least 6 - BREW, J2ME, Symbian, Android, Windows Mobile, and Windows 7.
Anyway, right now Sony has 3 active platforms, PS2 doesn't count because its last significant game (Rock Band) came out in 2008, and only one game came out this year (Fifa 12) released back in September, and there are no further games scheduled for release on the platform. |
Sony is still producing PS2. Even if there are no games being released, Sony is producing millions of PS2 every year.
I really think that PS2 will go on production at least for 3 more years(2015).
Hell, even Ps1 was still being produced awhile ago. But I don't know if a semi-dead plataform is dead or alive, however the fact is that the holders are still producing it.
Even Genesis is still in production by today >.<
