Now I'm sure sales are up, they've said they're spending a significant amount of money advertising over Europe this holiday, but tbh why did they think that would be enough? No price cut, gift cards do't boost sales here like they do in the US, and its two rivals had a $50 price cut .... Kinect wasn't huge here last xmas either ... Perhaps they were banking on huge UK numbers (does seem to be doing very well here) but overall, no chance. I'll be surprised if they come in January and announce they sold better/on par with PS3 and Wii in Europe over the holidays. |
